Worth taking Chance on 'Chance Pe Dance'

The movie is based on struggle of a youngster Sam (Shahid Kapoor) from Delhi who comes to Mumbai to become a Bollywood super star leaving his father alone. Movie starts with a nice song and an artistic show of how things could be used in an innovative way when you don't have money. Sam gets rejected at many places until he dazzles a big Bollywood director Mohnish Bhel in a club with his amazing dance performance. The director selects him for his new movie as a lead actor where on the other side Sam was thrown out by his landlord as he does not have money to pay for pending rent.

He then started sleeping in his car during night which he parks near a school where he starts teaching dance to earn some money. Then one day all in sudden when he see the director in a TV show saying that his next movie hero will be selected through a national level talent hunt process, he crumbles down and has a heart breaking feeling. Tina (Genelia Desouza), who falls in love with Sam supports him morally and stands with him at every stage to encourage Sam.

Then a short abrupt end of the story where Sam wins the 'Star of India' contest and becomes a superstar in an year, spoils the flavor of the story. Both Shahid and Genelia did a splendid job in absence of other strong characters.

The movie gets attention by the classic dance performances of Shahid & a perfect blend of songs in the story.
